Silver Lake’s High-End Homes Go Into Multiple Offers

It does not look like a buyers’ market in Silver Lake. Recently, there have been some amazing homes for sale that have sold quickly with multiple offers (some, over the asking price, all cash).  Silver Lake is breaking new ground with listing prices, as there are no other sales to support the prices of these homes. Some qualities that these homes share include the Ivanhoe Elementary school district, well-maintained properties, large sq. ft., a yard, and sometimes a pool (all of which are not easy to find in Silver Lake). Compared to the west-side of Los Angeles, you still get a much better house for the price, in addition to living in a community where people can walk their dogs, stroll their babies, jog, and say hello to one another.
